    Multiple types of goods require refined management to support the growing business volume

    As business volume continues to grow, China Star Optoelectronics originally relied on inefficient manual experience and paper management methods, resulting in low inventory accuracy and low warehouse utilization, making it unable to meet the business needs of large-volume orders. In addition, the goods stored in the warehouse include raw materials, finished products, semi-finished products, spare parts and other types, each with different attributes, such as different production dates, expiration dates, warehousing dates, factories, inventory locations, batches, statuses, VMI/non-VMI, etc. These attributes require refined and differentiated management to achieve first-in-first-out materials, semi-finished products/finished products, and distribution out of the warehouse on a first-in, first-out basis.

    In 2017, CSOT applied the FLUX WMS solution to manage the warehousing business of raw materials, auxiliary materials and finished products in a refined manner. The WMS solution successively covers all materials such as raw materials, auxiliary materials, finished products, spare parts, packaging materials, bulk materials, gifts and gifts. The application warehouses include Shenzhen (t1/t2/t6/RMA), Huizhou, Wuhan (t3/t4) and other warehouses, and are still being added.


    Box barcode management

    Huaxing's spare parts, some of which are relatively small and require long storage times, are stored in bins, which are subdivided into multiple compartments. Each grid stores one kind of material, and the bin grids are not mixed. The material box needs to be placed on the mother pallet of the vertical warehouse and enter the vertical warehouse for storage. FLUX WMS has designed a complete set of material box grid storage location management solutions, establishing a separate location for each material box grid, and the first part of the grid location name is the material box number. The handheld device can be bound and unbound to the pallet to meet the conditions for entering the vertical warehouse for storage, greatly improving the utilization of warehouse storage space, and achieving the effect of "zero storage" in the automated vertical warehouse.


    Unique code management enables full process traceability

    Each board of Huaxing Optoelectronics (semi-finished products and finished products) has a board number, box number, and piece number. Ultimately, the whole process of packaging at all levels needs to be traceable. Therefore, unique codes need to be managed in all operations of production and even warehouses. ; FLUX has designed a complete set of operating procedures for three-level (board, box, chip) unique code management. The production end has a separate system for binding, coding and labeling. The data is automatically transmitted to FLUX WMS through FLUX DATAHUB. After the product is sold or put into production, the information is then passed to the downstream, and the transfer history is recorded at the same time. This completes the sharing of FLUX WMS and upstream and downstream information and business connectivity, achieving the unity of Huaxing Optoelectronics' unique code data management, accuracy and traceability of rapid information sharing and transmission.


    Collaborative integration of multiple systems and multiple interfaces

    Each business of CSOT has its own independent system. The WMS project is online, and the warehousing business is fully connected with other business systems through the FLUX DATAHUB platform, including SAP, QTS, MES, TMS, WCS, etc. Through the FLUX DATAHUB platform, WMS seamlessly connects with about 100 external interfaces to convert, receive and send data. This not only ensures the real-time accuracy of business data required by WMS, but also realizes digital integrated management of Huaxing Optoelectronics' warehousing business.


    Automated three-dimensional library application

    FLUX WMS provides a complete set of application solutions that are seamlessly connected with the automated vertical warehouse equipment system WCS. Combining three-dimensional shelves, rail lane stackers, inbound and outbound pallet conveyors, shuttles, appearance inspection, barcode scanning, communications, signboards and other hardware equipment, WMS reasonably instructs and schedules equipment operations while stably receiving hardware operation data, achieving intelligent and refined warehousing management. FLUX WMS guides and standardizes the daily operations of operators, reducing dependence on operator experience and reducing operator labor intensity. ; Improve warehouse management standards, integrate warehousing resources, and improve storage space utilization efficiency ; Improve the accuracy, intelligence and efficiency of overall warehouse operations.
