Camel, a leading company in China's footwear and apparel field, has complete brand marketing, R&D, design, manufacturing, distribution and retail capabilities. It has a huge domestic retail distribution network and supply chain management system, and its product groups are also deployed on online platforms such as Tmall, JD.com, Vipshop, and Amazon.
2013.08
After several months of intensive implementation work, FLUX WMS was successfully launched in Camel’s main warehouse and sub-warehouses. Camel conducts large-scale warehouse inventory, and WMS system data is updated simultaneously.
2013.10
FLUX conducted system performance testing and tuning, order interface testing and optimization, stress testing, and Double Eleven operation strategy formulation and rehearsal for Camel's WMS system.
2013.11.11~16
FLUX provides on-site support for Camel, including: FLUX WMS system operation monitoring, interface platform operation monitoring, on-site guidance and assistance, and emergency response.
1. Wave generation
Wave generation is for merging picking of multiple orders, improving efficiency and reducing repeated walks. Wave optimization further improves the efficiency of subsequent picking operations.
Partition optimization for picking and sorting operations. (After optimization, the order picking operations of the same wave are controlled in a smaller operating area)
Order optimization for secondary seeding. (Group orders with high product or operating area overlap into one wave to improve seeding efficiency)
Order optimization for single products. (Orders are summarized according to the packaging quantity of the whole box of the product, and the whole box is picked directly in the storage area)
2. Printing of face sheets
Carry out load balancing of print jobs according to different express companies, and complete batch binding of express delivery orders and orders.
3. Job distribution
Picking tasks are issued according to the principle of balanced distribution of work areas.
4. Picking (apply different picking strategies for different types of orders to maximize picking efficiency)
i. sort while sorting (Shoes-shoe multi-item order, clothing-clothing multi-item order)
The picking car has multiple orders per car. Each cargo compartment represents an order, and the picking is distributed to each order at the same time.
ii. Wave seeding (Shoes-clothing mixed multi-product order)
The shoes and clothing in the wave order are picked separately and sent to the seeding wall. Each grid of the seeding wall represents an order, and the shoes and clothing goods picked in the batch are sown to each order.
iii. Single product selection (Single product order)
For the same single product order, the whole box is collected to form a wave, the whole box is picked, and then each order is sorted.
Since the order pool is large enough, the effect of wave optimization and regional path optimization is very obvious, and multi-product orders can be picked in a limited path.
5. Review the packaging
Assembly line operation, quality inspection - review - packaging - labeling - bundling
6. Weighing
7. Express handover
More than 1,000 temporary workers received half-day training. Under the guidance of FLUX WMS's standardized and rigorous processes, operating efficiency continued to improve.
2012 Double 11 , it took more than a week to deliver all the 700,000 orders of camel goods.
2013 Double 11 , 1.2 million orders of goods, with the strong support of FLUX WMS, were all shipped in just 5 days, and the order processing efficiency more than doubled.
