In Samsonite Ningbo Intelligent General Warehouse, FLUX has completed the connection with multiple sets of automation equipment such as MINILOAD automated warehouses, conveyor lines, high-speed sorting lines, and electronic labels. These automation equipment used in different links realize efficient collaborative operations in the warehouse under the unified command of the FLUX WMS intelligent engine.
In view of the characteristics of small items such as wallets and belts, Samsonite has introduced the industry's most advanced MINILOAD equipment to manage them. On the one hand, it improves storage efficiency, and on the other hand, the goods-to-person picking mode improves operating efficiency.
MINILOAD has 2,496 storage spaces, which can store more than 20,000 items of goods, and has 4 workstations, which can support the picking of more than 20,000 small items from the warehouse on a daily basis. FLUX WMS analyzes the order, issues the corresponding picking tasks to MINILOAD, and distributes the tasks to the corresponding workbench according to the principle of job balancing.
MINILOAD receives the picking tasks and splits them into turnover boxes (blue), transports the turnover boxes (blue) to the workbench, and pushes the picking details to FLUX WMS ; The operator at the workbench scans the turnover box number (blue) and picks the goods that need to be picked into the target turnover box (red) according to the information prompted by the FLUX WMS system.
The full target turnover box (red) is sent to the review and packaging station through the conveyor line, and is reviewed and packaged by the review operator. The WMS system automatically prints the box label, and the operator pastes the box label and pushes the package into the sorting conveyor line. The sorting scanning device on the conveyor line scans the outer box number of the package, and sends the package to the corresponding sorting port divided by the carrier through the slider sorter. FLUX WMS displays the package count information of the order through the operation dashboard to confirm that all orders (packages) have been completed.
